The village of Morden is a few miles to the north of Wareham in Dorset and this series shows a small plantation of poplar trees over many seasons. This small plantation is in a low lying boggy area bisected by a small stream and is damp, or even flooded, for much of the year. As a result it cannot be used for the type of intense agriculture seen in the adjacent fields. The project started when the trees were only two to three metres tall and they are now well over double this in many cases. Some have died off, others ripped down by storms, but it is becoming a mature plantation.

The pictures are shown in related groups of four showing the area at different times of the year and are spread over several pages.
